The Kalkal Insulated Boot Covers are made of high-quality, durable materials and seem perfect for keeping your boots warm and dry in cold weather. However, they run large, which makes walking difficult. I would recommend sizing down for a better fit. Overall, great product, just needs a more precise fit.
We do allot of hunting and your feet get pretty cold. These go over your boots to provide warmth and it creates traction. They fit over the boots great and work like they should. Easy to fit in and made well. I definitely recommend these for hunting or hiking whenever it’s cold.
I’ve only used these for a short time, but the cold is setting in and cold season hunting is upon us so I will be able to put these to the test out in the super chilly wisconsin woods. What I can say at this point is they fit well. I wear an 11 size shoe and had no problem fitting these over my boots. I really like the zipper in the back, makes them easy to get on and off. While it’s been unreasonable warm, I can’t rate the warmth effect truly yet, it’s really starting to cool off here, so I should have a better idea of how warm they keep my feet in a month or so. Quality materials and I like they are in camo too.
I tested these out with a size 11 Danner 800 Gram hunting boot. They covers fit over the boots pretty easily and could likely cover a size or two up as well. The zipper on the back makes it easy to slip in and out and there is a cord at the top to tighten these down.
The bottom of the cover is similar to a house slipper material so you will not be walking around in these looking for an Elk, but sitting in a stand or getting up for a minute and walking a few feet carefully would be fine.
It hasn’t been cold enough here yet to need these but I will update the review after a hunting trip in November.
An easy, cheap way to keep your feet warmer on a hunting trip.
These covers are good for the price. They add some additional insulation for your shoes. They fit my shoes fine based on the size ordered and have a decent looking camo pattern on them. The traction is pretty good and the dont slide around as much as I was expecting.
