Tips: How to Sharpen The Fillet Knife Blades?
Before sharpening your electric fillet knife blades, you need to detach the blade from the handle by unlocking the security lock.
- Utilize either a sharpening stone or a specific knife sharpener made for electric knives;
- Hold the blade at a small tilt and glide smoothly along the sharp edge, following the curve of the blade;

I used this to cut out some Pelican foam for gear in a Pelican case. These cut through the foam like butter and they are very easy to control for accurate shapes and correct sizes to be carved into the foam. I put a line on the blades in an attempt to measure depth but that did not work super well. That said, I recommend you have a method to regulate your depth of cut or you will go all the way through the foam…like I did. Oh well. Aside from an obvious user error, this knife worked well. I am sure it would cut meat just as well. It was very functional and easy to use.
This is a nice electric knife that helps me to process a big mess of fish quickly. Cuts quickly and makes for some good filets. Obviously you¡¯re only as good as your skill. If it¡¯s your first fish filet it may not turn out all that great. If you have processed several hundred fish like I have, then this is a great tool to have. I may not buy this though if you don¡¯t process a lot of meat. A good sharp knife will do just fine for low volume.

This is actually a super nice electric filleting knife! I got this for my husband he loves to fish! I thought this would make his life a little bit easier lol! It came very well packed and secured. It had all the right pieces and there were no parts missing. The instruction manual was very easy to read and helpful with using it and getting it set up for the first time. This knife is actually super Sharp and you could easily fillet a fish with this. Everything works perfectly as described in the ad and all the measurements are correct. You can tell this is not made with Cheap materials. Very heavy duty and nice quality! Definitely got to give this a solid 10/10! Worth every penny and a great bang for your buck in quality alone!
But I do not care for the design. The trigger guard (hack it off) and the shape of the curved battery hit the table trying to cut close to the table. It works great, but I have tried others designs the are straight. Its really sharp and makes short work of cleaning fish and is a good bargain.
