I love these! They are very well made, durable, and are super comfortable. I love being able to slip them on and off easily especially when I am going from outdoors into the house with my hands full. The boots are super comfortable for a day of fishing or even getting yard work done around the house. I used to wear flip flops to check the mail until i about fell. These I can slip on check the mail and be back without slipping all around in my flip flops.
It is nice to come along to a product that is this well made. The fit is awesome, and the quality of the build is noticeable. Well packaged and a great deck boot. I think I will have this for many years to come.
Very comfortable for waterproof boots- comes with insole inserts that fit snugly inside the boots. The seam between the sole and the sides of the boots is done well, and everything feels strong and secure. There are two loops to help to pull the boots on, which is nice. The inside feels a little better than the outside, which is definitely a good thing for comfort. The boots barely reach above the ankle, so not for deep water/mud/etc as it will splash over the edge and get inside the boots. For something where the ground is slightly wet and doesn’t have pools of water, these work very well.
These are really a 4.5 rating and the only reason I couldn’t give them a 5 star rating is because even though they fit snugly and comfortably when on your feet, the are not “Easy On/Off ” by any means. The fact that they have pull-on tabs (loops) front and rear should be indication enough that “Easy On/Off” is a RELATIVE description and they take some work to get on and off. The other slight drawback is how heavy they are – definitely “heavy” duty’.That said, once they are on they are comfortable with great traction. And they provide decent protection, both top and bottom, for your feet. I’m sure the extra weight contributes to the foot protection these shoes offer, so it is a reasonable tradeoff.Where I live, Pacific Northwest coast where it is damp/wet 8 months of the year, these are great for working my yard or pasture, or just strolling through the woods. I haven’t yet been boating with them by they are great, traction-wise, on my new TREX Composite deck. All said and done, I’d definitely recommend these for anyone in the Pacific Northwest or who spend time in cold, wet weather.
This is a well made sturdy boot. It comes with an extra pair of insoles, too! The soles are thick and nonslip. Bring on the rain! I’m ready now!
