I was very hesitant ordering these boots. I wasn't sure the boots would be comfortable and was concerned they would be hot. However, after wearing them a few days in the yard, I found the low ankle height was perfect and the boots are very comfortable after stretching them out for a couple hours. When I first put them on, the boots were a little tight below my ankle, but now they feel great. After a full day of usage, my feet are a little sweaty, it's still 90 degrees out so it's to be expected. These boots are completely waterproof, perfect for when I'm spraying herbicides or fertilizers. They look good and feel great. Pricing is very fair for the quality. I'm using the harder inserts and saving the softer inserts for a later date. The hard inserts are comfortable for me. I haven't found anything I don't like so far. If anything changes, I'll do an update. Hope this info helps.

This is a lightweight boot that is suitable for mucking about in the yard, garden, orchard, etc. These do not have a steel toe, so I would not recommend them as safety boots. So far they're holding up as "waterproof" as long as you don't get water above the ankle line where there is a neoprene lining. I was impressed with how these were boxed and that they came with a thinner insole to help different feet get the best fit. I used the more "athletic" sole that shipped with it as it was thicker and has more support. I liked the weight and comfort of these boots for hiking and working on our tree farm.The traction on these is good once you've worn them a bit. Be careful when you first put them on and take them for walk on some dry surfaces to get the soles to a point where they won't be as slippery on wet surfaces.Best Uses: weekend visit to an orchard, working in the yard/garden, walking to/from work in the rain or snow, casual wandering/hiking (not a long distance hiking boot).Not Recommended as a heavy-duty protective work boot

These Rubber Boots by Kalkal arrived quickly, packed with care in a sturdy and nicely designed box. Ordered usual shoe size and these were true to size. Fairly easy to slip on but not too loose when walking around (did not need/use the extra provided insoles). They appear and feel well made with quality material. They have a good grip on the bottom. Already wore them for a few hours and they were flexible, comfortable, and kept feet dry. Excellent boot for yard chores at a very reasonable price. Highly Recommend.

I wear a size 11 1/2 shoe. I own a weed control & fertilizer / pest company and I walk a lot across lawns. For years I used a shoe/boot made by perfect storm and the company went out of business. Their boot was almost just like this and I was hoping these would fit close to the same. My feet don’t like any type of rubber boots bc my heel slides up and out. The perfect storm boot was great. These are awesome. They fit just like the old ones I wore and I’m pumped to have found another comfortable rubber boot that’s like a shoe to walk across lawns and apply herbicides. I’ll be buying another couple pair to have on standby when I wear the first pair out.

While I live in South Florida, I do spend parts of every winter up in the northeast. I've noticed over the last decade or so, that the winter weather has become a little milder, and a lot wetter. What used to be a lot of snow, has turned into a lot of freezing rain, snow that melts, and cold rain as well. As such, I wanted a pair of waterproof boots that I can slip on easily, and wear in that type of weather. These rubber boots are indeed waterproof, easy to slip on, and pretty comfortable to wear. They also came with an extra pair of inserts, as well as very good packaging so that they maintain their form. The neoprene around the ankle area is comfortable to slip on and off, and I was even able to do it without using my hands. There is a fairly aggressive tread that is good for northeast winters, and of course the rubberization around most of the boot is ideal for wet weather of any kind. They would go really well with a pair of jeans, or any kind of pants for that matter. All in all, I'm really happy with them, and can't wait to splash around in some of the puddles this coming winter. When you have that kind of weather, the best thing is to keep your feet dry, and these boots are excellent for that purpose. I'd certainly recommend them.
