Well designed and well made of sturdy materials. Features genuine YKK zippers for smooth action. Fits my .45 1911 just fine. The pull-tab style quick open feature takes a little practice to get used to.
I had the fun opportunity to wear this over an entire weekend and I¡¯ve gotta say – this is a really cool looking fanny pack! It mixes both minimalist styling and dorkiness.
First, the fabric is a smooth black nylon that feels premium – it¡¯s nothing like the rough denier nylon weave you find on military packs, but more of a refined close weave that looks casual and unassuming. The fabric feels smooth against clothing which is important to not snag anything nor will it overpower the outfit by screaming tactical.
Next, the dimensions are almost perfect – it¡¯s large enough to hold a couple of cell phones, small wallet, keys and a packet of gum. It doesn¡¯t scream gadget geek but the black minimalist look makes it look smart, if you can ever describe a Fanny pack as smart-looking.
Lastly, if you carry a sidearm, note that there¡¯s a Velcro strap in that compartment which does hold the weapon in place but isn¡¯t particularly secured. Should you need to quickly draw your sidearm while stowed in this fanny pack, please practice with it since it¡¯s not something you can draw quickly from.
Overall, I love the form factor of this pack – I would definitely wear it out often since I love that it tries to look stylish but unassuming at the same time. To anyone looking at this, they¡¯d probably think the wearer of this fanny pack is trying hard to look stylish but that person is likely a dork looking to relive the 1980¡¯s. Like I said, I love it for the unstated messaging that this pack exudes.
This pack is well made overall. I really like the materials used, and the zippers in particular.
The non firearm storage is a bit scant. And I’d only reccomend it for compact or midsize pistols on the smaller side of that range. Fitting a full frame gun in here would be difficult.
The waist strap adjustment could have been better designed. It took me a good few minutes to get it adjusted to the point where it was comfortable and secure.
Other than those minor gripes as stated the materials all seem to rage from mid to high tier, and should serve all of my tactical fanny pack needs.

This fanny pack surprised me with its high quality. The zippers are YKK which are top notch. The quick release tab to open the hidden compartment of the holster works well. It holds my 9 firmly and the weapon retention is good.
