Very nice padding on the shoulder straps. Heavy-duty canvas waterproof material. Firm padded seat. Pockets galore.
My Only ¡°issue¡± are the three straps in front. I wish they were wider.
This turkey vest is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon.
Awesome hunting vest! This has multiple pockets and storage areas for everything you need! This is perfect for hunting! It¡¯s really padded and comfortable! The seat works great and is comfortable!
It has a ton of pockets. Seat cushion is fine, but if you are heavier set like me, it will be flat; however, the vest was able to buckle up even for a 3xl clothes wearer. It a fan of the orange, but that¡¯s just me being picky. All the zippers worked great, the front straps have pull zippers, typical in blinds nowadays. Did I mention there is a ton of storage. Now just gotta bag the turkey.
First, let me say that this vest is indeed comfortable. This is more like wearing a harness as opposed to my old vest, which is actually a vest. When I tried the vest on, the first thing I noticed was the padding on the straps and back. My old vest does not have this and it is a welcomed addition. This vest has tons of storage, but what I am not a fan of are the bungee cord loops and hooks that secure them. They just are not quick and easy to use. Another thing I did not care for are the three buckles that secure and close the vest. They are very small and feel cheap. I am used to a larger buckle that is easier to manipulate and gives an audible click when fastened to let you know it is secure. I do like that there is some elastic built into these straps to give you some breathing room.
As far as ascetics, this vest in my opinion does not look as good as my old faded camo vest. There is just something about this camo pattern or print quality that just looks fake and cheap. I was also surprised at how much bright orange is visible on this vest. Instead of using bright elastic for the securing straps, why not use an earth tone or something that would blend more with the camo. These bright orange accents stick out like a sore thumb. As far as the seat cushion goes, it is ok but I don’t like the strap system on it either. Overall it just seems like a good idea that isn’t well thought out or executed. Maybe I am just used to my old vest, but this will not be the one to retire it. I’ll keep looking.
Having this cushion dangle behind you inconveniently is very distracting and it gets caught on things you pretty much have to take the best off to get the cushion in place which makes it obsolete I just took it off and put it in the turkey bag where your turkey goes after you bag one. The material of this thing is made out of it really nice the pockets are durable and the zippers are bombproof there’s probably too many orange locator straps on the zippers but there’s a lot of zippers and it helps stick out a little bit when your camo for other hunters to see you. Lots of different pouches everywhere all over this thing and it can hold some serious weight too without digging into you very comfortable lightweight with lots of storage I would just bag the idea of the hole cushion though try to look at the pack without the cushion and maybe think of that as an extra you can figure out how to utilize it better .
